Contributor Profile

Overview​

Establish your presence by creating a detailed personal profile. Your public contributor profile shows your details, skills, an activity feed (e.g., submissions to bounties), and stats like total earned, submissions, and opportunities won.

By default, your profile can be viewed publicly and it's of critical importance for discovering opportunities matching your experience, including the activity feed and potential stats (earned/submissions/won).

Edit Your Profile​

1. Log In​

  1. Go to https://nearn.io
  2. Click "Sign In" (top-right corner).
  3. Connect with:
  • Google account
  • E-mail address

2. Edit Your Details​

  1. Click on your name. (top-right corner)
  2. On the drop-down menu, select "Edit Profile".
  3. Edit and update your profile information.
    • Username: Your unique username across NEARN.
    • Location: The country where you are based.
    • One-Line Bio: A concise "one-liner" to quickly introduce yourself.
    • NEAR Wallet Address: Link your wallet for seamless reward distribution.
    • Socials: Add social and professional links (e.g., X/Twitter, GitHub, LinkedIn, personal website) to provide a detailed picture of your experience.
    • Work: Detail your work preferences, relevant experience, community affiliations, and current employer (if applicable).
    • Proof of Work: Add projects or links to demonstrate your capabilities and past successes.
    • Skills: Show your skills by selecting from relevant categories (e.g., Product Manager, Frontend, UI/UX Design). This helps sponsors find you and tailors your opportunity feed.
    • Keep info private: Choose to keep your info private if desired (a public profile enhances discoverability).
  4. Click Update Profile.

  1. Click on your name. (top-right corner)
  2. On the drop-down menu, select "Profile".
